will focus on donors who made a gift in 2015 but have not made a pledge this year, kicking off the 2016 Cavaliers for Life effort with all student-athlete alumni and increasing the donor base with new donors. It will certainly be a busy fall and I look forward to sharing our progress. As our student-athletes and coaches pre- pare for another season, the competition in the ACC and nationally continues to be fierce. The support from our donor base does have a direct impact on the success of our programs. As we welcome a new class of student- athletes this August and start another exciting season for the Cavaliers, we recognize just how important donor support is to their over- all experience. From the first day student-ath- letes step on Grounds to the day they walk the Lawn, you have a profound impact on their experience. Along the way we get to celebrate their success in the classroom and in athletic competition, creating lifetime memories for our student-athletes and fans. Thank you for your support of our student-athletes. Best regards, Dirk P. Katstra Executive Director 2016 BOARD OF TRUSTEES OFFICERS President William L. Tyson, Richmond, Va. Vice President Alan A.
