HUB-Robeson Center On Campus Squeeze THE DAY ® "I think sometimes we lost it here and there the past couple of years, and I think one of the things this year that's going to really change is how we approach the game, really with that mean edge," he said. "If you don't think you're a badass dude, then you shouldn't be out there on the 'eld because you're just going to end up getting hurt. "I think it's just a mindset. You can't be afraid to hit someone. You have to know when to (ip the switch. I think it's a mindset, and once you cross onto that white line and get on the 'eld, that's a battle'eld. You're there to put some harm on someone." Listed at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds heading into his senior season, Gaia hopes the end result will be a Nittany Lion o)ensive line that is able to let go of the past and move into the next play with con'dence and aggression. "I think we have to have blind con'- dence. No matter what we're going against, we have to be con'dent in what we do," Gaia said. "Whether this play call is going to work or not, we should go out and think that no matter what happens, this play is going to go for a touchdown. "I think we got timid. That's kind of what the spring was about. I think Coach Moorhead did a great job of [urg- ing players to] forget last year, forget the past two seasons. This is different. It's a different offense, different people. You just need to go out with confidence, and trust that what he calls is going to work, that he's going to put you in the right position." – N.B.
