GOOD NEWS Safety Jabrill Peppers is starting to get some Heisman Trophy buzz. He is the national leader in both tackles for loss (9.5) and total punt return yards (173) BAD NEWS Michigan hasn't suffered a lot of misfortune since Harbaugh took over, but it did have a bad week on the recruiting trail in August when three four-star recruits de- committed. The Wolverines lost 2017 defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon and two 2018 players: tight end Leonard Taylor and of- fensive lineman Jalil Irvin. DID YOU KNOW? Penn State fans will definitely recognize one of the faces on the Michigan sideline Saturday. Michael Zordich is in his second season in Ann Arbor, where he coaches the secondary and spe- cial teams. A Google News search earlier this week turned up the following: "Harbaugh blasts Ohio State over alleged 1% milk con- sumption" "Harbaugh not amused by fic- tional CU depth chart" "Harbaugh may still owe former Michigan teammate for domino bets" "Harbaugh: Seriously, I don't eat my boogers" And that's just this week's haul. It doesn't include the time he made news for arranging sleepovers in recruits' homes or the time he climbed a tree in a bid to impress a cornerback prospect from Southern California.
