P enn State has wasted little time when it comes to setting up o-cial visits for its top remaining Class of 2017 prospects. During the past two years, James Franklin and his assistants preferred that recruits wait until late in the season or in December or January to o-cially visit. Like so many other programs, Penn State wanted its recruits to be on campus as close as possible to that player's decision date. However, it appears as if the sta, has now changed its plan of attack, as Blue White Illustrated has already con+rmed that eight seniors are planning to take of- +cial visits to Penn State before the end of the season. Those visits actually began in mid-Sep- tember, as the sta, hosted linebacker An- thony Hines III, defensive lineman Matthew Butler and receiver K.J. Hamler for the game against Temple.
