I really respect that about him. He has a very busy sched- ule, but he always makes time for every- one, not just recruits and players." Before he leA town during his previous visit, which took place Aug. 20, Scott al- ready knew that he would be returning for a game this season. In fact, there was only one game on his bucket list, and that was this weekend's White Out matchup with Ohio State. "I'm really looking forward to seeing this atmosphere," Scott said. "I've heard so much about this White Out game. Ever since Penn State started recruiting me, this was the game I wanted to attend and see in-person. I've heard so many people talk about it. Even Coach Urban Meyer has said that this is one of the craziest envi- ronments he's ever coached in. "I feel like it's going to be an unreal at- mosphere, so I can't wait to see all 100,000 of their fans pulling for their team on Saturday." So far, Scott has earned 25 verbal schol- arship offers. Some of the top programs on his list include Arkansas, Florida, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State and North Carolina. He's also been able to see games at a few of those schools this sea- son. "I've been to Louisville, Ohio State and then Michigan State this past weekend," he said. "I also went to Cincinnati's Thursday night game against Houston, and I went to Illinois and Tennessee." So, which schools could be on the verge of offering? "I've been getting a good vibe from a few schools since Sept. 1," Scott said. "There were a few different schools that stepped up interest, but lately it feels like Ohio State and Ole Miss are two schools that are very interested. They've both been con- tacting me a lot. Alabama has been send- ing me a lot of stuff, as have Clemson and Tennessee. They've all been hitting me up hard these past couple months, so I'm looking forward to seeing what will hap- pen." Aside from his trip to Penn State this coming weekend, Scott has one additional visit set, which will be to Ohio State for its game against Michigan at the end of the season. Scott is the ninth-ranked offen- sive guard and the 11th-ranked prospect in Ohio for the Class of 2018. Scott is likely to be joined by at least a dozen other Class of 2018 prospects who have already landed offers from the coach- ing staff. Linebacker Dallas Gant of Toledo, Ohio, will be making his second visit to University Park since the summer. Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan State and UCLA are just a handful of schools that have also extended offers. In addition, Penn State is off to an excel- lent start with three-star defensive end John Morgan. The Hyattsville, Md., native will be making his third trip to PSU since the spring game. Other notable juniors who are expected to be on hand Saturday night include tight end Jeremy Rucket of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; defensive back Kwantel Raines of Aliquippa, Pa.; and running back Ricky Slade of Woodbridge, Va. Scott has been looking forward to Penn State's White Out game against Ohio State since visiting campus over the summer. "I feel like it's going to be an unreal atmos- phere," he said. "I can't wait to see all 100,000 of their fans pulling for their team on Saturday." Photo courtesy of Rivals.com
