O'Bannon is consid- ering NC State, Texas, USC and UCLA, where his father, Charles O'Bannon Sr., played for Mark Gottfried, who was an assistant coach for the Bruins. Claxton's father also played colle- giately, starring for Georgia in the early 1990s at center. Nicolas Claxton joined O'Bannon on the same official visit week- end and also had unofficially visited last June. The 6-8, 200-pound Greenville (S.C.) Legacy Charter forward is consid- ering NC State, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida State and Baylor. Kiir officially visited NC State the same weekend, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, as Thomas Al- len. The 6-9, 225-pounder from Braden- ton (Fla.) Victory Rock Prep is originally from the Sudan and Australia. He is con- sidering NC State, Illinois and Virginia Commonwealth.
