66 ■ THE WOLFPACKER BASKETBALL PREVIEW 2016-17 ■ Terry Henderson 3 • SG 5th-Sr. • Raleigh • 6-5 • 190 Analysis: Henderson had been expected to be NCSU's second scoring option on the wing last year, complementing point guard Anthony "Cat" Barber, but he was lost for the season when he tore a ligament in his ankle seven minutes into the opener. Fully healthy entering this season, he is expected to be one of NC State's top shooters and provide an athletic defensive presence. Career Highlights: Played only seven minutes before injuring his ankle and missing the rest of last season … Redshirted in 2014-15 after transferring to NC State … Started 28 of 58 games in two seasons at West Virginia and averaged 9.8 points per contest as a Mountaineer … Made 89 three-pointers in two years and shot 81.6 percent from the free throw line … Scored a career-best 28 points against Texas Tech … Had a season-high 23 points against Michigan as a freshman … Played for Neuse Christian Academy in Raleigh and helped the team win four 3A North Carolina Christian School Association state championships … Had more than 3,300 career points in high school … Averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a senior. What's your favorite city you have ever vis - ited? San Diego. Down one in the national title game with one second left and two free throws, who on the team do you want taking the shots? Myself. How would you describe your personal- ity in one word? Mysterious. Who is the best bowler on the team? I know a couple of guys are taking bowling classes, but I have the form down.
