This week it proved it was ready for daytime. Coming off an exhilarating victory over Ohio State, coach James Franklin said the Nittany Lions would have to "bring their own juice" for a noon kickoff at Purdue, where the atmosphere was sure to be a whole lot more sedate. The Lions brought it, all right. Taking advantage of two Purdue turnovers early in the second half, they broke open a tight game and pulled away for a 62-24 victory in West Lafayette.
