Passing attack propels Lions to comeback win at Indiana
A battered and bruised Penn State offense got
pushed around by Indiana for much of the aAer-
noon. But by the fourth quarter, the visiting Nit-
tany Lions looked a lot like their old selves, and
they were able to rally past the Hoosiers, 45-31.
One of the better second-half teams in the coun-
try, Penn State outscored Indiana 31-7 over the
game's final 18 minutes, clinching the victory with
a scoop-and-score by Torrence Brown aAer quar-
terback Richard Lagow fumbled while trying to
rally the Hoosiers in the final minute.
The Lions came up with four turnovers in the first
half, but still went into the locker room tied with
the Hoosiers, 14-14. They gave up 10 points early
in the second half, and the game appeared to be
slipping away. But just as they had done against
