P Blake Gillikin has averaged 41.8 yards per punt, with 20 punts landing inside the 20-yard line. Sanders has averaged 21.2 yards per kickoff return, with a long return of 48 yards. Wisconsin freshman Anthony Lotti has averaged 37.7 yards per punt, and the Badgers rank 13th in the Big Ten with a net punting average of 34.4 yards. Senior Andrew Endicott has converted 11 of 16 field goal attempts, with his longest being 46 yards. Both Penn State and Wisconsin rank in the middle of the pack in punt returns and kickoff returns. // EDGE Penn State SPECIAL TEAMS THE LOWDOWN Wisconsin is no stranger to the Big Ten Championship Game. The Badgers' appearance in this year's game will be their fourth. They've gone 2-1 in their previous games, defeating Michigan State in 2011 and Nebraska the following year, and losing to Ohio State in 2014. The Spartans (three) and Buckeyes (two) are the only other teams that have made multiple appearances in the title game. // EDGEWisconsin THIS 'N' THAT THE LOWDOWN This is Paul Chryst's second season as Wisconsin's head coach, and he has kept the Badgers among the league's elite, going 10-3 in his first season and 10-2 this fall. This is James Franklin's third season as Penn State's head coach and his first appearance in the Big Ten Championship Game. C O M 5 distance against Penn State on Saturday, as Hornibrook suffered a head injury last weekend against Minnesota and is listed as questionable for the championship game. The Badgers have three main receivers in Peavy, junior TE Troy Fumagali and senior WR Robert Wheelwright. Peavy has 39 catches for 582 yards and five TDs, while Fumagali has been Wisconsin's go-to receiver on third down, having finished the regular season with 38 catches for 467 yards and one TD. Wheelwright has 33 catches for 436 yards and one TD. The Nittany Lions' pass defense ranks seventh in the Big Ten. CB John Reid is their top cover man, ranking eighth in tackles with 34 and leading the team with seven pass break-ups and eight passes defended. The Lions are second in the Big Ten with 37 sacks.
