Recognizing the "Who's Hoo" in UVa athletics — Cava- Lauren Perdue ◆ Women's Swimming The rising fourth-year from Greenville, N.C., finished fourth in the 200-meter freestyle at the U.S. Olympic Trials, punching her ticket to the London Olympics as a relay member. Perdue, who missed the NCAA Championships in March due to back surgery, swam a 1:57.75 and will represent her country on the 4x200 relay team. champion after three seasons in Charlottesville. Scott was named ACC Player of the Week four times, which is a school record, and he finished his career ranked third in program his- tory in rebounds (944) and double-doubles (34), and 16th in points scored (1,538). Paige Selenski and Michelle Vittese ◆ Field Hockey The rising redshirt fourth-year standouts took the 2011-12 academic year off from school, in order to try to qualify for the London Olympics as a part of the U.S. National Team. On June 8, the duo found out their mission was ac- complished and both were named to the 16-member squad. Devvarman, who has been sidelined with an injury since November, received one of eight wild cards. He reached a career-high world ranking of No. 62 last year, is currently ranked No. 259, and is expected to make a return to the courts in July. the U.S. Player of the Year by USA Field Hockey this spring, and Selenski, a three-time All- American who ranks third in program history for career points (171) and goals (73), are the first two Cavaliers to ever play field hockey in the Olym- pics.
