JANUARY 2017 ■ 87 classmates, Bianca Moldovan and Claudia Wiktorin, both won 11 matches. Two five-star freshmen join the equa- tion in Anna Rogers and Adriana Reami. Rogers, in particular, could be a valuable doubles player. Both won seven matches during the fall, with Rogers getting one win over a ranked opponent. The wild card is junior transfer Alejandra Cisneros, who won the Division II national singles title last year at Armstrong State. Earnshaw knows that Cisneros is capable of handling a heavy load for the Pack, but Cisneros' eligibility is being reviewed by the NCAA over something that happened prior to her arrival in Raleigh. "We are going to hopefully have some good problems, particularly if we are able to get through this with Alejandra," Earn- shaw said, referring to his lineup. Even without Cisneros, Earnshaw main- tains his expectation of more postseason play for the Pack. "I don't think that situation changes our goals at all," he said. "I think this needs to be a year of consolidation and sustained growth. The more years in a row that we can sustain that growth, then you build a platform that it's hard to drop down." ■ Sophomore Bianca Moldovan, the first-ever blue-chip recruit to sign with NC State, won 11 matches as a rookie.
