Just three days a5er winning its second consecutive national championship, Penn State landed Pennsylvania's best re- cruit for the Class of 2018. Gavin Teasdale, who won his third state championship this past season for Jefferson-Morgan High in Greene County, announced March 21 on Twitter that he would be switching his verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions. Teasdale had originally announced last April that he planned to wrestle for Iowa. Teasdale is the No. 2 overall prospect in the country for his class, according to FloWrestling.com. The nation's top- rated recruit, heavyweight Gable Steve- son of Apple Valley, Minn., said in March that he plans to attend Min- nesota. Teasdale has a 122-0 career record at Je4erson-Morgan and 3nished his junior season with a 40-0 mark at 126 pounds. He projects as a 133- or 141-pounder at the college level. –TIM OWEN 107 Mountain Springs Lane • (814) 364-1000 • www.sevenmountainswinecellars.com Only 20 minutes from State College • 1 Mile off 322 near Potters Mills/ Decker Valley Road Find Seven Mountains Wine at Main Street Market, Reedsville and Castlerigg Wine Shop, Downtown Carlisle.
