Glasscock had been the director of re- cruiting operations at Minnesota from 2011-14. Prior to that, he worked as a recruiting operations assistant at Northern Illinois. "Billy has done a tremendous job build- ing programs and has a blueprint for suc- cess," NC State head coach Dave Doeren said in a statement. "At Minnesota, they recruited North Carolina, Georgia and Florida well. "He has great experience, passion, vi- sion and organization, and I'm excited about what he brings to our recruiting staff." Glasscock will be reunited with his for- mer recruiting assistant at Minnesota, Will Christopherson, who was hired by Doeren as the assistant director of player person- nel. Christopherson spent last season as a scouting specialist for Alabama, and from 2014-16 he was Glasscock's assistant at Minnesota. Christopherson replaces Landan Salem, who took over as director of player per- sonnel at Florida Atlantic in March. Two new staff members were also added to the office, including former NC State offensive lineman Merci Falaise. He spent the past three seasons working in the recruiting office at Tennessee, and he assumes the title of assistant director of player personnel/recruit communications at NC State.
