FOURTH-YEAR TIGHT END PAUL FREEDMAN getting to know In Virginia's season-opening, 43-19 victory over Rich- mond, the Cavaliers rushed for 162 yards on 41 carries. Enter fourth-year Paul Freedman, who earned the starting assignment this season. "We use the tight ends in a lot of different ways, man said.
