Amirault also won the ACC indoor title in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:13.61. After battling through injuries for most his college career, Amirault is finally 100 percent. He said his time at Virginia has given him a sense of balance, showing him how to properly train at the collegiate level. "I was finally healthy when I got here, and I learned to hold myself back — the necessity of being conservative," Amirault said. "You don't need to be going 100 percent every day.
