J U N E 9 , 2 0 1 7 B L U E W H I T E O N L I N E . C O M 8 he visited to watch spring practice. He then returned for the Blue-White Game a few weeks later. There's been a lot of talk about some other prospects re- cently, but we're under the impression that Zubovic is still in play for the Nit- tany Lions. He informed us in May that he would like to get back to Penn State early in the summer. DEFENSE EYABI ANOMA DE, Baltimore, Md., St. Frances SCHOOLS Penn State, Alabama, Clem- son, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Mich. State, Ohio State, Mississippi, Pitt, South Carolina, Syracuse, Texas A&M, USC, West Virginia, Wisconsin THE LATEST (May 4) Anoma was in- vited to PSU's Junior Day in February, but he ended up visiting Pitt that week- end instead. He then had one or two ad- ditional opportunities to visit in March and April but never made the trip. Anoma did go to Alabama in April and has since made it clear that the Crimson Tide are the team to beat. If PSU can get him on campus in the next month or two, they could still become a player here, but we're expecting Anoma to end up elsewhere. THOMAS BOOKER DT Baltimore, Md., Gilman School SCHOOLS Penn State, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, South Carolina, Syra- cuse, Temple, Toledo, Virginia THE LATEST (May 4) Booker is a versa- tile athlete, but the staff prefers him at defensive end. He's also an exceptional student, so academics should prove to be important. Booker had yet to visit Penn State as of this writing, but he has said that he'd like to meet with the coaching staff at some point. Nothing is set in stone, but we'll be watching Booker for a visit in June. Florida State is the most recent school to offer. JUDGE CULPEPPER DE, Tampa, Fla., Plant SCHOOLS Penn State, Alabama, Boston College, Bowling Green, Cincin- nati, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missis- sippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Pitt, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida, Syra- cuse, Tennessee, USC, Wake Forest, Wisconsin THE LATEST (May 4) Penn State hosted Culpepper and his family for an unofficial visit in early April. Following the trip, he said that it was one of the best visits he's taken to any school, adding that the Lions are now one of his top five schools. Culpepper is planning to make a decision this summer, so if PSU can get him back on campus one more time, it would be an excellent sign. Most expect him to end up at Florida, where his father played, but Tim Banks, Josh Gattis and Sean Spencer have all stopped by his school to make the case for Penn State. MARCELLUS EARLINGTON DE, Ramsey, N.J., Don Bosco Prep SCHOOLS Penn State, Boston College, Connecticut, Duke, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Car- olina, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Wake For- est THE LATEST (May 4) Earlington picked up an offer from the coaching staff while on campus for Junior Day in February. He was planning to return for the Blue- White Game in April but was unable to make the trip. Earlington didn't really visit a lot of schools in the spring, but we expect things to pick up for him in the summer. We still feel as if PSU is in an excellent position here. Louisville and Michigan State are the most recent schools to offer. JAYSON OWEH DE Blairstown, N.J., Blair Academy SCHOOLS Penn State, Boston College, Dartmouth, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Navy, Pitt, Princeton, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tem- ple, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin THE LATEST (May 4) Oweh visited Penn State in March and earned an offer in late April. He has also visited Har- vard, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse and Tem- ple, and he recently earned offers from Georgia and Virginia Tech. Both of those schools will likely receive a visit this summer, but Penn State should also be able to get him back on campus. The Lions have an excellent chance here. MICAH PARSONS DE, Harrisburg, Pa., Harrisburg SCHOOLS Penn State, Alabama, Bay- lor, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuae, Tennessee, UCLA, USC THE LATEST (June 8) Parsons opened up his recruitment the day aCer the Blue-White Game. Although he contin- ues to say that the Nittany Lions are still in the mix, it was a major loss for the 2018 class, as Parsons was clearly the top player. He visited twice in early June, and he will likely return in the fall, but it feels as if Ohio State is the team to beat. He's also spoken highly of Georgia and USC, both of which he's visited. We don't expect Parsons to make another commitment anytime soon. TYLER FRIDAY DE, Ramsey, N.J., Don Bosco Prep SCHOOLS Penn State, Alabama, Boston College, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin THE LATEST (May 4) Friday is listed as a defensive end, but he would most likely play defensive tackle if he attended PSU. He and his father visited Penn State for the first time in February for Junior Day and immediately had great things to say. However, they didn't make it back to Penn State later in the spring, electing to visit Michigan, Ohio State and Rutgers, all three of which they had seen before. We feel as if PSU is sitting third in this race. Another visit this summer could prove to be important, but it feels like the Buckeyes and Wolverines both have an edge at this time. DORIAN HARDY DE, Paramus, N.J., Paramus Catholic SCHOOLS Penn State, Alabama,
