The Lions have an abun-
dance of promising young linemen, but
the one who turned heads this past
spring was Miranda, a January arrival
who lined up as a :rst-team guard in the
Blue-White Game. The Lions were deal-
ing with some injuries at the time, so his
presence in the starting lineup doesn't
mean he'll be running with the ones
come September; he might even take a
redshirt. But regardless of whether he
begins his playing career in 2017 or '18,
the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder from Stow,
Ohio, is on the right track.
