and downs on the recruiting trail in
June. James Franklin and his assis-
tants were able to add one of their top tar-
gets along the defensive line, but the
Class of 2018 also su:ered its third de-
commitment, as quarterback Justin
Fields of Kennesaw, Ga., announced on
June 6 that he would be opening up his
recruitment.
Just two weeks prior to his decision,
Fields 8nally got the validation that Nit-
tany Lion fans thought he deserved, as he
not only moved up more than 100 spots in
the Rivals250 but also earned a coveted
