14 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ Superman NC State's fall camp started July 29. With the first practice held without pads on, the Wolfpack spent a lot of time working on special teams, including a punt block drill. Redshirt freshman cornerback James Valdez displayed text- book form in laying out to block a punt, and in doing so gave his best superhero impersonation.
