FOOTBALL RECRUITING ROUNDUP Recruiting Notes High is one of the most sought after recruits that remains on Notre Dame's recruiting board. Due to the continued efforts of the Irish coaching staff, including a school visit during the bye week, the nation's No. 11 running back, No. 20 player in Florida and No. 127 overall prospect in the country will take an official visit to Notre Dame for the BYU game Oct. 20. While other national programs have expressed an interest in him, the primary competition at this point may be South Florida due to the school's proximity to Folston's home. Notre Dame has one need re- · Running back Tarean Folston of Cocoa (Fla.) maining at the slot receiver/ running back hybrid role in the 2013 campaign, and Folston is the player that would be the ideal fit for the spot due to his playmak- ing ability. · Crete (Ill.) Crete-Monee wide Dame as his "clear-cut leader," but has since taken a step back from that stance and referred to his interest as "high," along with other programs in the mix like Alabama, Clemson and now Michigan State. Alexander went as far as saying he doesn't even plan on taking an official visit to South Bend anymore after visiting last sum- mer, which would put an obstacle in the program's chances of land- ing him.
