W ith 23 verbal commitments in the Class of 2018 as of mid-Septem- ber, it was looking as if the coaching sta3 will be forced to turn away some elite prospects down the stretch. It appeared as though the Nit- tany Lions were primarily fo- cused on four players to 2ll the 2nal two remaining scholarships. Despite the fact that they've already brought in four excellent o3ensive line- men, Rasheed Walker of Wal- dorf, Md., remains a priority for the sta3. Franklin and de- fensive coordinator Brent Pry would also like to bring in one more defensive lineman. They appear to be focused on defensive ends Micah Parsons of Harrisburg, Pa., and Jayson Oweh of Blairstown, N.J., and defensive tackle Tyreke Smith of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. North Canyon SCHOOLS Penn State, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Mississippi, Utah, USC THE LATEST Enis announced during the summer that he was planning to take an o4cial visit to Penn State during the weekend of the Indiana game, Sept. 30 - Oct. 1. However, he told BWI on Sept. 1 that he's no longer sure if he'll make the trip. We believe that Enis's position is not the Nittany Lions' top priority right now. The sta3 will continue to recruit him in case they miss out on the players they've prioritized, but it appears as if Penn State is content with the receivers it has already recruited. Enis is the sec- ond-ranked player in Arizona. He's listed 48th overall at wide receiver for the Class of 2018.
