Wallace, who stands 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, earned an offer from the Nittany Lions in February when he attended a junior day. Since then, he's taken three additional visits, the most recent of which was in July for the Lasch Bash barbecue. Those visits have allowed him to build an excellent rela- tionship with the staff, and it's only grown stronger in recent weeks, as Penn State and other programs were able to begin contact- ing Class of 2019 prospects on Sept. 1. "On September 1st at midnight, most of [Penn State's] coaching staff reached out to me," Wallace said via text message. "Since then, I've been talking to [Matt] Limegrover and [James] Franklin the most. I speak with them a little over once a week. Lately, we've been mainly talking about my upcoming game visit and about being a leader at my school. Speaking with them so oBen has re- ally strengthened our relationship." Wallace is already familiar with Univer- sity Park and the athletic facilities, but he hasn't yet experienced a game in Beaver Stadium. "I'm most excited about being there on game day and seeing the atmos- phere because I've never been there for a game," he said. "I also spoke with Justin Shorter about coming to the game, so I'm excited to hang out with some recruits and watch it with them." A member of the Rivals100, Wallace al- ready holds more than a dozen scholarship offers. His list includes Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech. While it's become clear that Penn State is in an excellent position, plenty of other schools have been making a big push since the start of September. "I would say that the schools showing the most interest lately are Oklahoma, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss," he said. "I have a Florida State visit coming [Nov. 18 for a game against Delaware State]. Lately, I am also starting to build a strong relationship with Clemson and Alabama." Wallace is ranked No. 79 overall in the Class of 2019. He's the 12th-ranked offen- sive tackle and the third-ranked prospect in New Jersey. –RYAN SNYDER R E C R U I T I N G New Jersey OL to visit for Indiana game
