Renovated Notre Dame Stadium Sept. 30, 2017 (Item #6664) NEW! University of Notre Dame Aerial View 2017 (Item #6665) NEW! This panorama captures a University of Notre Dame home football game in the recently remodeled Notre Dame Stadium. Great effort was taken to bridge the past to the present in the renovation, adding a great deal of ambiance to Knute Rockne's celebrated stadium. A number of modern amenities improve the game day experience, such as club-level seating, a video board, ribbon boards, a new sound system and upgraded Wi-Fi network. Outside the stadium, three new buildings complement the iconic venue that has been home to Fighting Irish football since 1930 and reinforce Notre Dame Stadium as the central hub of academic and student life at the University. This panorama features the University of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Stadium™ after an extensive three-year construction and renovation project. De- signed to complement the University's Collegiate Gothic architecture, 800,000 square feet in three new buildings were attached to the iconic stadium. From east to west, they are: Corbett Family Hall with the Departments of Anthropology & Psychology and the Martin Media Center, O'Neill Hall with the Depart- ment of Music and the Sacred Music Program, and the Duncan Student Center with a multitude of student life spaces. The project is testimony to Notre Dame's commitment to teaching, research, performances, faith, multimedia, student life and athletics.
