He has kept interest in other programs since then and told 247Sports national recruit- ing analyst Keith Niebuhr that Notre Dame's campus is a place he'd like to get back to. He reported to 247Sports that he has received more school visits from his Irish recruiter, Scott Booker, than any of the programs he's in con- tact with. Robinson is rated by 247Sports as the No. 18 player in Georgia, the nation's No. 21 wide re- ceiver and the No. 184 overall prospect in the class of 2013. • Tony Stevens of Orlando (Fla.) Evans has one of the more intriguing recruitments to fol- low now that he revealed via Twitter that he de- committed from Florida State, but the four-star wide receiver hadn't talked to the Seminoles coaching staff yet according to his interview with Josh Newberg of Noles247. The No. 25 player in Florida, the No. 20 wide mokalee, Fla., labeled Notre Dame as his leader soon after a summer trip, but later backpedaled from the statement. In fact, he went on to say that he wouldn't even take an official visit to Notre Dame when interviewed by Newberg. The No. 7 player in Florida, the No. 4 corner- a number of other recruits that fall into the "big skill" category that would like to get to Notre Dame for a visit and he doesn't have much wiggle room to consider other options. • Cornerback MacKensie Alexander of Im- back in the land and the country's No. 27 over- all player switched up his stance again when speaking with Luke Stampini of GatorBait and said he'd get back to South Bend for a visit following his U.S. Army All-American jersey presentation. The coaching staff will continue to pursue him based on his lock-down ability. The Clemson Tigers remain the program to watch for the Florida native. • Four-star cornerback Cole Luke of Chandler receiver nationally and the No. 178 overall re- cruit in the land went on to tell Newberg that he wants to get to South Bend for Notre Dame's game against Pitt Nov. 3, and he's a prospect that the Irish coaching staff is looking into de- spite limited spots left in the class. • The bulk of the attention in regards to any Irish commits that could be wavering on their decisions is centered on Anzalone. However, decommitment rumors started swirling Oct. 17 concerning Spokane (Wash.) Mead outside linebacker Danny Mattingly, who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 3 player in Washington and the country's No. 20 outside linebacker, after he reportedly watched the Huskies play the weekend before. Mattingly told BlueandGold.com that the re- ports of him decommitting were inaccurate and the writer "didn't have his facts straight." He maintained that he was still verbally committed to the Irish, but it's worth noting that there are (Ariz.) Hamilton, who is coached by former Irish quarterback Steve Belles, didn't look to have continued interest in Notre Dame following his summer visit, but opted to get back to campus for the Michigan game Sept. 22 for an official visit despite the break in communication. The Irish did get another opportunity to im- press him, but didn't appear to make the nec- essary strides to pass Oklahoma and Texas in the race.
