the nation at his position, Henry is the
brother of Los Angeles Chargers tight end
Hunter Henry.
"I haven't been able to visit yet, but I do
plan on visiting Penn State as soon as I get
the chance," Henry said. "I'd love to make
it up there before the end of the season.
But if not, I'll probably come during the
o<-season.
"I've talked a lot with Coach [Ricky]
Rahne and Coach Franklin. We've built a
really strong relationship, one of the best
I've formed with any school, to this
point."
Louisiana is another state loaded with
talent, yet it's been di=cult for the sta<
to make any headway there in recent
years. While there's still a long way to go
until Penn State is stealing prospects
from LSU, Smith has been talking to the
nation's top-ranked cornerback, Derek
Stingley Jr.
A native of Baton Rouge, Stingley has
been communicating with Smith and
Franklin for the past couple of months.
Their relationship has progressed to the
point that Penn State even sent Smith
down to Baton Rouge on Oct. 12 to watch
one of Stingley's games.
"Right now, Coach Smith and Coach
Justin [King] are the coaches I'm in con-
stant communication with," Stingley
said "I like what the sta< has done.
They've come in there and have made
Penn State one of the top schools in the
country."
Only time will tell if Penn State is actu-
ally able to improve on this year's e
