The former Oklahoma State standout inherited a team at Binghamton University that went 0-12 following its reinstatement in 2005-06. He turned the Bearcats around in his six years at the helm. First, progress came in the classroom, and then he transformed them into a national power on the wrestling mat. The team finished 21st at the 2010 NCAA Championships and 14th in 2012, while churning out 21 qualifiers for the national tournament and four NCAA All- Americans.
