My Dad grad- uated from NCSU. I was born in Raleigh and started attend- ing games at the age of eight. I could not articulate it then, but I knew that I loved NC State and that the Pack was my passion. If I lived closer I would attend "all things NC State." How did you become a involved with the Wolfpack Club? I was asked by Stephen Ponder in 1994 to become a rep, and I was thrilled. I felt I could turn my passion for the Pack into helping our student athletes. I also enjoy planning events like our caravans and attending our rep workshops and area meetings. Why did you decide to get Betsy Blatz Why should someone that's not a member join the Wolfpack Club? There are numerous reasons to join ... The Wolfpacker magazine, ticket opportunities, Coaches Caravan and special event invitations that members receive. I think everyone that loves NC State should join and help our student-athletes. Some of my best friends I met through the Wolfpack Club! Do you have any favorite game-day traditions? I love to watch our marching band in the PNC parking area as they enter the stadium. Getting in my seat early is a must, and I love tailgating with my Wolfpack friends. Visiting with people that sit near me at Carter-Finley is so meaning- ful. I consider them part of my Wolfpack family. WOLFPACK CLUB Who is your favorite all-time student athlete? Torry Holt is my favorite!!! NOVEMBER 2012 ■ 3 Representative Spotlight Betsy Blatz
