The Lions overwhelm Maryland to cap a 10-2 regular season
Penn State enjoyed another lopsided victory on
Saturday, and this one had a lopsided score to
match.
One week a?er Nebraska rallied for 34 second-
half points to make a runaway win look like a
shootout, at least in the box score, the Nittany
Lions kept both feet mashed down on the gas pedal
and didn't even think about tapping the brakes in
a 66-3 thrashing of host Maryland.
Penn State hadn't played in College Park since
1993, and thanks to big games from quarterbacks
Trace McSorley and Tommy Stevens, along with a
stout effort by the defense, this most recent
matchup ended up being surprisingly reminiscent
