EVENT RECAPS TRACK AND FIELD ALUMNI REUNION The track and field pro- gram has experienced ex- citing changes this year with Lannigan Field reno- vations and welcoming a new head coach. Track and Field alumni were in- vited back to Charlottes- ville to celebrate the pro- gram updates on Saturday, April 21 as UVa hosted the ACC Track and Field Out- door Championships at the new facility. Fifty-seven former team members and their families attended the Social and Track Meet. Coach Bryan Fetzer, who was hired as director of the track and field and cross country programs in December 2012, was on-hand to meet alumni and share in their experiences at UVa. Lo Davis, assistant director at the Virginia Athletics Founda- tion, spearheaded the event as a way to engage alumni, showcase the new facility, and meet Coach Fetzer and his staff. "As the director who supports the track and field program, I am thrilled to work Alumni Robert Stewart (left) and David Garth (right) visit with Bryan Fetzer (center), UVa director of track and field/ cross country. with Coach Fetzer and his staff," Davis said.
