POSTSEASON PREVIEW >> THE GAME AT A GLANCE WHERE University of Phoenix Stadium (capacity: 63,400), Glendale, Ariz. WHEN 4 p.m. ET, Dec. 30 TV ESPN will carry the game, with Dave Pasch handling play- by-play and Greg McElroy pro- viding analysis. Tom Luginbill will be the sideline reporter. RADIO Steve Jones and Jack Ham will call the game for the Penn State Sports Network. ESPN Radio will also carry the game, with Bill Rosinski and David Norrie in the booth and Ian Fitzsimmons on the sideline. SERIES HISTORY Penn State leads the all-time series against Washington, 2-0. MOST RECENT MEETING The Nit- tany Lions tied an NCAA record with their fifth consecutive bowl victory, defeating the Huskies, 13-10, in the Aloha Bowl in Hon- olulu on Dec. 26, 1983. Washing- ton led 10-3 heading into the fourth quarter, but the Nittany Lions got a 49-yard Nick Ganci- tano field goal and 2-yard D.J. Dozier touchdown run to pull out a come-from-behind victory. Punter George Reynolds was named the Defensive Player of the Game after averaging 47.7 yards on seven attempts. DID YOU KNOW The Fiesta Bowl was the first to land a title spon- sor when it became the Sunkist Fiesta Bowl in 1985. The game that season, played on Jan. 1, 1986, featured Michigan and Ne- braska, with the fifth-ranked Wolverines defeating the No. 7 Cornhuskers, 27-23. Since then, it has been sponsored by IBM, Tostitos, Vizio and BattleFrog. In November 2016, Sony signed a multiyear agree- ment to make PlaySta- tion the Fiesta Bowl's title sponsor. MR.
