The way No. 26 handles himself is so refreshing to see. What a positive ex- ample for PSU. He is the same humble kid that took the Big Ten by storm starting in his true freshman season. I just hope so badly that the Giants will take him. … One can hope, right? rcy4499 The most heartwarming story concerning Saquon is his desire to buy his mom a house. He won't be the first to do that, nor the last, but you wonder if that is a part of what drove him to train as hard as he did. What an ambassador for Penn State. SW Fla Lion Love SB. From a practical/business standpoint, I am not sure there is a bet- ter-positioned persona entering the NFL Draft. He had an outstanding repu- tation in sports, both as a person and an athlete. He will likewise have a positive impact on the team he joins, guaranteed. maxxedout I would hate to see Barkley land with the Browns, but if he does, let's hope they get an improved offensive line to block for him and maybe also get Sam Darnold at quarterback. The Browns need so many key players that perhaps a team like the Atlanta Falcons can make some kind of deal with them to get Saquon by giving up a number of players for the first or sixth pick (assuming he is still available then)! Jerademan74 To me, his run in overtime against Minnesota took a 2-2 team all the way to the Big Ten championship and on to the Rose Bowl. It turned the entire 2016 season around and continued on all the way through 2017. Who will be the next great Penn State running back years from now who we will try and compare to Barkley, the same way we compared Barkley to other great Penn State backs into the middle of his sophomore year, realizing he had sur- passed them all? jarit1 He does not have a weakness in his game. I LOVED Ki-Jana, but Saquon was the best ever. gorki11 He has a weakness – he often goes backward trying to make a big play in- stead of putting his head down and getting those extra 2 or 3 yards. A great ex- ample is the play before Trace's tipped interception in the Fiesta Bowl. That being said, this will be coached out of him in the NFL and he will long be re- membered as one of the best to ever wear the blue and white. What a special player! CJLion A guy like Saquon is just the tonic the NFL needs. I hope he is so great that he goes all the way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and wins multiple titles. Wherever he goes, he's going to make that team a lot better. Howie'81 I was in a room full of people casually watching the Fiesta Bowl pregame stuff. Some were big fans, some didn't care about football at all, but it was the unanimous opinion in the room that Saquon was excellent and a real am- bassador for Penn State both as an athlete and student. I think another shout-out needs to go to both his mom and dad. That was/is some excellent parenting. BBrown S I T E L I N E S B W I . R I V A L S . C O M R E A D E R S S O U N D O F F 111 E.
