Those stops bolstered what be- came the fifth-best total on the team, 68, including a sack among 4.5 tack- les for loss. Kinnel also picked off a pair of passes and broke up seven more. 12. QUINN NORDIN Redshirt Freshman, PK Nordin was named honorable mention All-Big Ten (coaches and media) while leading the team with 92 points. He made good on 19 of 24 field goal attempts (79.2 percent), including 2 of 3 from more than 50 yards, with a long of 55. 13. SEAN MCKEON Sophomore, TE An honorable mention All-Big Ten performer (media), McKeon led the Wolverines in receptions, from the tight end spot. He made 31 catches for 301 yards and a team- best three receiving touchdowns. 14. CHRIS EVANS Sophomore, RB Evans enjoyed a solid season at tailback, the honorable mention All- Big Ten performer (coaches) rushing 135 times for 685 yards and six touch- downs. He also caught 16 passes for another 157 yards and a score. 15. ZACH GENTRY Redshirt Sophomore, TE Michigan's Most Improved Of- fensive Player and an honorable mention All-Big Ten performer (me- dia), Gentry made 17 catches for 303 yards a pair of touchdowns for the Wolverines. His receiving yard- age ranked second, trailing wideout Grant Perry by just four yards. 16. JOSH METELLUS Sophomore, S An honorable mention All-Big Ten player (coaches and media), Me- tellus posted half a tackle for loss among 50 overall stops, broke up five passes, forced a fumble and blocked a kick this season. 17. DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES Freshman, WR The team's Rookie of the Year and honorable mention All-Big Ten choice (media) as a punt returner, Peoples- Jones secured 22 catches for 277 yards. He returned 40 punts and averaged 8.0 yards per runback with one touch- down. 18. BEN BREDESON Sophomore, LG Bredeson earned second-team All- Big Ten honors (coaches and media) while starting all 12 regular-season games for the Wolverines. He has 20 starts in two seasons. 19. NOAH FURBUSH Redshirt Junior, LB Furbush's Outback Bowl inter- ception proved a highlight for the fourth-year Wolverine, who also registered 30 tackles, with one sack, 2.5 stops for loss, one pass broken up, two quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries. 20. MICHAEL ONWENU Sophomore, RG Onwenu made nine starts in his second season with the Wolverines, settling in at right guard. He'll be looking for a strong offseason to build on that effort in 2018. 21. CESAR RUIZ Freshman, OL Ruiz is one of the gems of the freshman class. He broke through to start five games at right guard, including the Outback Bowl. He'll be a prime contender to start on the interior of Michigan's line from the beginning in 2018. 22. AUBREY SOLOMON Freshman, DT Another top rookie, Solomon played in all 13 games for the Wolverines, steadily increasing his profile at defensive tackle and winding up with 17 stops (two for loss). He should figure promi- nently into Brown's 2018 defensive front. 23. TARIK BLACK Freshman, WR Black played in just three games prior to his season-ending injury. He obviously made an impression, with 11 catches for 149 yards and one touchdown plus a world of promise. 24. BRANDON WATSON Redshirt junior, CB Watson supplied a strong insur- ance policy for the young second- ary, playing in all 13 games, with 21 tackles, 1.5 stops for loss, five passes broken up and a quarterback hurry. 25. GRANT PERRY Junior, WR Perry led the team with 307 re- ceiving yards on 25 catches with one touchdown. He snagged five catches for a game-high 61 yards against Michigan State. ❏ True freshman Cesar Ruiz broke through to start five games at right guard for the Wolverines, including the Outback Bowl.
