T H E C L A S S O F 2 0 1 8 >> WHAT HE DID A four-year starter, Par- sons played two and a half seasons at Central Dauphin High School before transferring to nearby Harrisburg High midway through his junior season. He made an instant impact at his new school, leading the Cougars all the way to the PIAA Class 5A championship game in 2016. During his senior season, Parsons totaled 55 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. He was also a key contributor on o=ense, rushing for 1,256 yards and 27 touchdowns. WHAT HE WON Parsons was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January, and in conjunction with his appearance in that game, he was named the American Family Insurance Defensive Player of the Year. He also made the Pennsylvania Football Writers' All-State team all four varsity seasons. During his senior season, he received both the O=ensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards from the Mid-Penn Conference. A cial visits to Penn State, Georgia, Nebraska, Ohio State and Okla- homa, and he also checked out Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State and USC ear- lier in the process.
