how amazed he was by it. [He] thought the campus was amazing and the people were great." RYAN'S TAKE He's not big by any means, but on film, Bullock looks very strong. He never goes down on first contact and also catches the ball well coming out of the backfield. Bullock would be a great addition to Penn State's roster, but now that the coaches have picked up a commitment from running back Richy Anderson, it's unclear whether they will continue to pursue Bullock. ROD CRAYTON DT|6-1|290| Dadeville, Ala.|Dadeville High SCHOOLS OF INTEREST Crayton has received 27 scholarship offers, and his top three are LSU, Penn State and Tennessee. A few other schools that have extended offers include Arkansas, Michigan, Mis- sissippi State and Vanderbilt. QUOTABLE Dadeville assistant coach Rashaan Evans: "He really liked every- thing. He thinks Penn State is a great place. He and Coach [Larry] Johnson really have a great relationship, and that's the big thing with Penn State. Coach Johnson had him out on the field to see how he coaches before the game. He also got to hang out with a bunch of the defensive linemen after the game and he really enjoyed that. He just had a lot of fun on the trip." RYAN'S TAKE Crayton is exactly the type of player Johnson wants for the one- technique nose tackle position. He stands 6-1, 290, but is an excellent athlete who is capable of making plays sideline-to-sideline. Crayton's range is evident in his statistics. Through nine games this year, he had 119 tackles. For his career, he's approaching 500 tackles. That's a lot for a nose tackle; linebackers don't always put up those kind of numbers. LSU appears to be Crayton's favorite school, but the Tigers have already re- ceived five commitments from defensive linemen. Crayton took his official visit to Penn State for the Ohio State game, so it's uncertain whether he will return this winter. ZAYD ISSAH LB|6-3|205| Harrisburg, Pa.|Central Dauphin High SCHOOLS OF INTEREST Issah has received 16 scholarship offers. His top two schools are Oregon and Penn State, but other programs that have offered include Arizona State, Iowa, North Car- olina State, Pitt, Purdue, Rutgers and Virginia. QUOTABLE Issah: "It was a great time. I sat with all the guys from Harrisburg – Adam [Breneman] Brian [Lemelle], Ro- man Clay, and of course I was with my boys from CD. My mom also came up and she loved it. It was her first game, and she really liked everything." RYAN'S TAKE Issah remains Penn State's No. 1 target at outside linebacker even after rescinding a prior verbal commit- ment to the Lions. He has a frame that could easily carry another 20 to 30 pounds and is versatile enough to play on either side of the ball. Issah appears BRIAN LEMELLE WR|5-11|175| Harrisburg, Pa.|Bishop McDevitt High SCHOOLS OF INTEREST Lemelle has 13 schol- arship offers, but the six schools he's seriously considering are Cincinnati, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and West Virginia. QUOTABLE Lemelle: "Penn State is defi- nitely still in it. I never ruled them out of it. I was just kind of worried about not really being able to compete when I first heard about the sanctions. But now that I've been really looking at things, looking at whether I redshirt or not, it really would only impact me for like two years. I could be playing in bowl games when I'm older, which is when I would hope to be playing. So yeah, Penn State's definitely still in it." to be leaning toward Oregon, but the longer this drags out, the better Penn State's chances get. Look for him to take official visits to Penn State, Oregon and possibly Arizona State in December or January. BIG MAN ON CAMPUS Little is expected to receive plenty of attention this spring.
