Roundtree led the team in receiv- ing in 2009 and 2010, catching a total of 104 passes for 1,369 yards and 10 touchdowns in those two seasons. He set a Michigan single-game re- cord in the 2010 Illinois game, rack- ing up an incredible 246 receiving yards and two touchdowns on nine catches. It was the highest single- game receiving total of any FBS player during the entire 2010 season. But in his first 21 games under Hoke, Roundtree averaged just 1.5 catches and 25.2 receiving yards per game. In that timeframe, he never caught more than four passes in a game. As his production dropped off, Roundtree never let his positive at- titude falter. He focused on being a great teammate and blocking for explosive quarterback Denard Rob- inson. "I don't really worry about catches; I worry about knockdowns [against defensive backs]," Roundtree said. "We've been getting our knock- downs, so the catches will come."
