State. He's expected to make a decision in either September or October. Faucheux has also taken multiple visits to Penn State. Auburn, Clemson, Michi- gan, Ohio State and Tennessee are just a few of the schools he's visited in the past few months. With a decision expected later this summer, he could be someone to watch closely come June. Ojabo and Porter both earned o9ers from the sta9 while on campus. Ojabo, who's originally from Scotland, didn't begin playing football until last season. His story is similar to that of his high school teammate, future Penn State de- fensive end Jayson Oweh. Blair Academy head coach Jim Saylor spoke highly of Ojabo's potential. "He's still raw, but he's learning quickly and is showing a lot of great signs that he could be something spe- cial," Saylor said. "He's basically a clone of Jayson. Athletically, he's very similar. They're around the same size, although David is a little heavier than Jayson. But he's been putting up the same numbers. He ran an 11-second 100 [meter race] last year in track. At 245 pounds, he's start- ing to fill out more, but his motor is in- credible." Porter is the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro Joey Porter, who is now the team's linebackers coach. In recent months, the three-star prospect has grabbed the attention of schools across the country, as Arizona State, LSU, Ne- braska, Pitt and West Virginia are just a few of the top programs that have o9ered. The North Allegheny prospect is still wide open with his recruitment, but he has taken three visits to Penn State and is expected to return later this spring or summer. ■ Five-star Ohio DE among prospects expected to attend Lions' spring game Penn State is expected to host at least seven prospects for official vis- its during Blue-White Weekend. Defensive end Zach Harrison of Lewis Center, Ohio, was the highest- ranked prospect confirmed as of April 8. The five-star player took three unofficial visits to Penn State in 2017, including a trip for the game against Michigan in October. It has long been believed that Ohio State is his favorite, but even those who cover the Buckeyes have made it clear that you can't count out the Nittany Lions. "Many consider Penn State a dark horse, but I feel as if Penn State is right there with Ohio State," said Marc Givler, who covers the Buck- eyes for BuckeyeGrove.com. "He's really high on Coach [James] Franklin and everything they're doing." Penn State is also in a good posi- tion with running back Devyn Ford of Stafford, Va., as well as Connecti- cut cornerbacks Tyler Rudolph of Oaksdale and Marquis Wilson of Windsor. All three prospects have taken at least three unofficial visits to University Park, while Ford has been on campus on four occasions. The Lions are considered favorites with both Rudolph and Wilson, while Ohio State, Penn State and Virginia Tech are locked in a tight battle for the nation's top-ranked running back. Ford will make his de- cision next month. In addition to Rudolph and Wil- son, the staff will also host two other excellent cornerback prospects in Jaden Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Cam'Ron Kelly of Chesapeake, Va. Kelly has taken a handful of visits to Penn State dat- ing back to his sophomore year, in- cluding a trip for the game against Georgia State in September. He's also seen more than a dozen other programs, including recent official visits to Oklahoma and Washington State. As for Davis, he, too, has seen his fair share of schools. In just the past six weeks, Clemson, Florida and Miami have all hosted him for visits. He was expected to take an official visit to Oklahoma on April 13. The Nittany Lions will also host the nation's top-ranked senior outside linebacker: Owen Pappoe. A four- star prospect from Loganville, Ga., Pappoe has yet to visit Penn State, but he's been strengthening his rela- tionship with both Franklin and Brent Pry in recent months. He's ex- pected to make a commitment on May 5. Many believe that Georgia is the team to beat. –R.S. CLASS OF 2019 NAME POS HT WT RATING HOME SCHOOL Keaton Ellis CB 6-0 160 ★★★ State College, Pa.
