Back In The Game After Missing Last Season With An Injury, Outfielder Brett Williams Can't Wait To Make His Return B By Bruce Winkworth rett Williams was NC State's forgotten man a year ago. Now, with the 2013 college baseball season rapidly approaching, Williams is looking forward to reminding everyone exactly what they missed. A fifth-year senior outfielder from New Bern, N.C., Williams entered 2012 as the Wolfpack's top returning position player. Versatile and multitalented, he showed all the tools in 2011. He batted .286 and led NC State with six home runs, four triples and nine stolen bases in as many attempts. He was second on the team with a .445 slugging percentage and tied for third with 35 RBI. Defensively, Williams was a human highlight reel in center field.
