No Reason To Wait New Head Coach Shawn Rychcik Expects His Team To Win Now A By Ryan Tice fter guiding Boston University to American East Conference championships and NCAA regional berths in three of the last four years, new NC State head softball coach Shawn Rychcik is ready to do similar things in Raleigh. We've got to still get polished up and improve, but there is talent — we have some pitching that can hopefully keep us in games and give our offense the chance to win some games." The team features just two pitchers — sophomore Emily Weiman and freshman Chelsea Stanfield — but the coach is confident in the duo, and the middle of the batting order has some run producers, which should also help the youngsters in the pitching circle.
