Whenever nine verbally committed prospects take official visits with five of the team���s top uncommitted targets, good things are bound to happen. However, no one saw this happening: four verbal commitments in a 12-hour span. Before the prospects headed home around noon on Sunday, Bill O���Brien had one last meeting with each individual in his D E C E M B E R ��� 1 2 , ��� 2 0 1 2 ��� 1 office. What exactly was said? Well, only a fly on the wall could tell you that, but something clicked. Linebackers Zayd Issah and Jonathan Walton, as well as postgraduate cornerback Anthony Smith, all verbally committed before they stepped off campus. ���I���d say Penn State kind of had a slight lead going into the visit,��� said Walton, a 6foot-1, 230-pound middle linebacker who was also considering Minnesota. ���They kind of had something planned out for me.
