"We are com- municating with the Big Ten Network about continuing to carry it after Au- gust 31 and look forward to productive negotiations." Barbour o7ered another possible plan for fans, as well. With tickets still avail- able for three of Penn State's seven home games this fall, she advised fans to con- sider attending the games most likely to be a7ected by the potential television coverage disruption. "For those 6rst couple of games, we've still got tickets," she said. "They can come to Beaver Stadium and watch us play and they won't miss out." ■ BIGGEST STORYLINE Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State will beat each other up, as Wisconsin cakewalks back to another Big Ten Championship Game. Trace McSorley becomes the third player in Big Ten history to amass more than 12,000 yards of total o4ense in his career. After coming up short in three of the past four Big Ten title games, Wisconsin breaks through this year and makes the CFP field. That was Delany's diplomatic dissing of Legends and Leaders, which the public embraced as warmly as the kale burger. TEDDY GREENSTEIN CHICAGO TRIBUNE Rebuilding a program and recreating wild success isn't as simple as relying on Husker football nepotism, of course. [Scott] Frost's thinking, though, is pretty clear. "If you have an organization or company that's the best in its sector for 25 years and it underperforms for the next 10-15... you're crazy if you don't look back at what made that company the best in its 6eld for as long as Nebraska was the best in college football," Frost said. PARKER GABRIEL LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR [O]nly one Big Ten Conference president-athletic director-head football coach troika has been together longer than Penn State president Eric Barron, A.D. Sandy Barbour and Franklin. (All three were hired in 2014.) That would be at Northwestern, where its triumvirate of Morton Schapiro, Jim Phillips and Pat Fitzgerald has been together for a decade. ... Northwestern's stunning new $260 million lakeside indoor practice facility doesn't happen if the three university principals aren't all on the same page. MIKE POORMAN STATECOLLEGE.COM
