There is no clear favorite out of the quartet, however, which could even allow Purdue and Minnesota to join the division title race. How well Wisconsin bounces back from a disappointing 8-5 campaign, and how much Nebraska improves from year one to year two of the Scott Frost era will be two of the determining fac- tors that decide the division. TRANSFER QUARTERBACKS Four teams (Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern and Ohio State) are expected to start a transfer quarterback in 2019, with Indiana potentially joining the party as a fifth (if Utah transfer redshirt freshman Jack Tuttle wins the job). Three of them — Michigan senior Shea Patterson, Northwest- ern redshirt sophomore Hunter Johnson and Ohio State sopho- more Justin Fields — were five-star prospects out of high school, and their play will be key in their respective club's hopes for a division title.
