Woo hoo!
The Cavaliers made a major addition
to their NCAA Tournament résumé
by upsetting then-No. 3 Duke 73‑68
Feb. 28, thanks in large part to the
play of Joe Harris. The third-year guard
poured in 36 points — nine more than
his previous career high and, at that
time, the most by an ACC player this
season — to help UVa hold off the
Blue Devils. The win broke the Wahoos' eight-game losing streak against
the Devils, and was Virginia's first victory against a top-five opponent
since an 87-84 win over No. 3 Duke on
Feb. 28, 2002.
