CELEBRATING IN THE RAIN
Less-than-ideal conditions didn't stop Michigan and the Pro Football Hall of Fame
from honoring former Wolverines Tom Mack (left) and Ty Law (right) during the
Michigan-Notre Dame game at The Big House Oct. 26.
Mack, who was enshrined into the hall in 1999, was a 13-year professional as an of-
fensive lineman, all with the Los Angeles Rams (1966-78). He was elected to the Pro
Bowl 11 times and earned four first-team All-Pro honors as well as four more second-
team All-Pro laurels after being selected with the second pick in the 1966 NFL Draft.
Law is the newest Wolverine elected to Canton, enshrined in the Hall of Fame in the
class of 2019. The No. 23 overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft, the cornerback spent 15
years in the league, suiting up for the New England Patriots (1995-2004), New York Jets
(2005, '08), Kansas City Chiefs (2006-07) and Denver Broncos (2009). He won three Su-
per Bowls, was selected for five Pro Bowls and was named a first-team All-Pro twice. He
also led the league in interceptions two times and was a member of the NFL's 2000s
All-Decade Team, in addition to being elected to the Patriots' Hall Of Fame in 2014.
Both Mack and Law addressed the team prior to its 45-14 win over Notre Dame.
