2020 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE BY CLAYTON SAYFIE Massachusetts is home to both U-M signee Eamonn Dennis and defensive coordinator Don Brown. Now, Brown resides in Ann Arbor, and Dennis is soon to follow, noting he felt comfortable when he visited U-M's campus. "Coach Brown did a really good job of recruiting me," Dennis said. "Going there for my official visit, it felt like home. I had the best time ever. "He also checked up on me every time he was around [the Worcester, Mass., area]. He made sure I was okay, made sure my grades were good." In addition to Brown, his primary recruiter, Dennis has been in close contact with other U-M assistants, as well as head coach Jim Harbaugh, who stays in touch with recruits much more than any other head coach Dennis observed through the process. "He visited my home the other day," Dennis said of Harbaugh in early February. "It was really good. He really likes me a lot, I can tell. Not that many recruits speak to the head coach, but he talks to me often, which is a good sign." The tremendously dynamic and versatile athlete has the ability to play on either side of the ball at the college level, and was even listed as an athlete by the school upon signing with U-M. Athlete Eamonn Dennis Will Line Up Wherever He Is Needed Dennis was a four-year varsity performer at Shrewsbury (Mass.) His athleticism gives him the ability to line up at multiple spots (including possibly defense). Don't expect him to play right away, especially with the offensive weap- ons that the Wolverines return, but down the road he will be a play- maker, wherever he ends up on the field.
