Pro Football Current Team Ben Braden OG 3 New York Jets Began the year with the Green Bay Packers, but was released Nov. 7 and signed by New York Nov. 13. Braden's only appearance of the year came off the bench in the 7-9 Jets' regular-season finale victory at Buffalo. Tom Brady QB 20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Connected on 60.8 percent of his passes for 4,057 yards with 24 scores and eight interceptions, and also ran for three touchdowns for the 12-4 New England Patriots. Finished seventh in the NFL in passing yards, tied for 13th in touchdown passes and was 19th in passer rating (88.0). His time in New England came to an end with a Jan. 4 playoff loss to the Titans, and then he signed a two-year, $50-million deal with the Bucs March 20. Ben Bredeson OG R Baltimore Ravens Selected by the Ravens in the fourth round (No. 143 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Ian Bunting TE 1 Indianapolis Colts Released by the Jets Sept. 25 and signed to the 7-9 Colts' practice squad Oct. 8, but did not appear in a game with either team. Devin Bush Jr. LB 1 Pittsburgh Steelers Played in all 16 games and started 15 of them for the 8-8 Steelers, accumulat- ing 109 tackles, one sack, four passes defended, two interceptions, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery he ran back nine yards for a touchdown. Bush's 109 tackles led all NFL rookies and were four more than the No. 2 first-year defender. Juwann Bushell-Beatty OT 1 Carolina Panthers Signed by the Panthers May 1, after spending the 2020 XFL season with the Houston Roughnecks. Jake Butt TE 3 Denver Broncos Continued to battle knee issues and never appeared in a contest with the 7-9 Broncos, ending his season on injured reserve for the third time in as many seasons. Taco Charlton DE 3 Kansas City Chiefs Released by the Dallas Cowboys Sept. 18 and picked up by the 5-11 Miami Dol- phins a day later, starting five of the 10 games he appeared in with them. Charlton compiled 21 tackles, forced two fumbles and led Miami with five sacks, but was waived April 30 before signing a one-year deal with the Super Bowl champs May 1. Jehu Chesson WR 3 New York Jets Spent the year on the 3-13 Washington Redskins' injured reserve and never ap- peared in a contest. He became a free agent and was signed to a futures contract by the Jets Jan. 9. Frank Clark DE 5 Kansas City Chiefs Started 11 of the 14 games he took part in for the 12-4 Chiefs, logging 37 tackles, eight sacks, four passes defended, one interception and three forced fumbles. His eight sacks were tied for 33rd in the league. In three playoff tilts during Kansas City's run to the Super Bowl trophy, Clark notched nine tackles and five sacks. Brian Cole^ S R Minnesota Vikings The former U-M wideout was drafted out of Mississippi State, where he played defensive back, in the seventh round (249th overall) by the Vikings. Mason Cole C 2 Arizona Cardinals Saw playing time in all 16 of the 5-10-1 Cardinals' contests, starting twice. Blake Countess^ DB 4 Free Agent Appeared in six contests with the 7-9 Jets, but never posted any statistics and was released March 11. Michael Danna DE R Kansas City Chiefs Selected by the Super Bowl champions in the fifth round (No. 177 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. PRO PRO BLUE BLUE Linebacker Devin Bush Jr. became the first Steelers rookie to ever post triple-digit tackles, while his 109 stops on the season led all first-year players and tied for 30th overall in the NFL.
