THE WOLVERINE 2020 FOOTBALL PREVIEW ■ 149 Quotable "Perennially underrated because he doesn't generate the same sack totals as some of the other pass rushers in football, Brandon Graham has neverthe- less pressured the quarterback like few other players over the past decade. He owns two of the top three pass-rush win rates of the decade, and only two edge rushers have a higher pressure rate over the past 10 years. "Graham has always been the poster child for pressure mattering in and of itself, even if it comes with a lower rate of sacks than other players, and the Philadelphia Eagles have been a far better team for embracing that dynamic." — Pro Football Focus, after placing Graham at No. 42 on their list of the game's top 101 players from 2010‑19 "ESPN.com's choice as the player of the decade, Brady's accomplishments are well documented. But what many teammates say stands out most is how he's the ultimate team player as a selfless teammate and leader." — ESPN's Mike Reiss, after tabbing former New England quarterback Tom Brady as the Patriots' best player of the past decade "This past season, Glasgow started most of the year at the right guard spot in Detroit. One of Glasgow's best qualities is the fact that the Broncos could start him anywhere on the interior and know that he should perform at a very high level. In 2017, Glasgow started for the Lions at left guard for the season. The next year, he ended up getting moved to center and once again performed at an above-average level. This past season was his best in the NFL and he was moved once again, to the right guard spot on the offensive line. "The fact that he has played three positions in three seasons and finished with increasingly good grades year-over-year shows the Broncos can plug and play him where they have their biggest need and know they will be getting a quality starter." — Carl Dumler of Mile High Huddle, discussing the Broncos' offseason signing of offensive lineman Graham Glasgow season ACL injury, and played in only two contests as a result. Never totaled any statistics, and was placed on Jacksonville's injured reserve list Dec. 10 with a hamstring ailment. Signed with the Ravens May 4, but was released June 11 with a non-football injury designation. Michael Schofield OG 6 Carolina Panthers Earned the starting nod at right guard in all 16 games for the 5-11 Los Angeles Chargers, before signing with the Panthers May 2. Dymonte Thomas S 3 Free Agent Spent the entire 2019 campaign on the 7-9 Broncos' injured reserve, but was waived Jan. 10 and became a free agent. Josh Uche LB R New England Patriots Chosen by the Patriots in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Brandon Watson CB 1 Jacksonville Jaguars Saw action off the bench in eight games for 6-10 Jacksonville, accumulating five tackles on the year. Matt Wile P 4 Free Agent Made two appearances for Atlanta and averaged 48.3 yards on six punts. The Falcons waived him Oct. 15 and he signed with the 3-12-1 Lions Nov. 16, but he was released Dec. 5. Wile then signed a futures contract with Detroit Dec. 30, but was let go by the organization again April 27. Jarrod Wilson S 4 Jacksonville Jaguars Started all 16 games for 6-10 Jacksonville and compiled 79 tackles, four passes defended, two interceptions and one forced fumble. Chase Winovich DE 1 New England Patriots Came off the bench in all 16 contests for the 12-4 Patriots, logging 26 tackles, 5.5 sacks and a touchdown he scored on a blocked punt. Chris Wormley DL 3 Pittsburgh Steelers Earned the starting nod in seven of the 16 games he appeared in with the 14-2 Ravens, notching 33 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two passes defended. On March 20, he was traded to the Steelers. Undrafted Free Agent Rookies CB Lavert Hill, Kansas City Chiefs; TE Sean McKeon, Dallas Cowboys; and QB Shea Patterson, Kansas City Chiefs. ^ Finished career at a school other than Michigan PHOTO COURTESY INDIANAPOLIS COLTS "The Green Bay Packers actually did get some receiver help in signing DEVIN FUNCHESS, whose broken collarbone spoiled his season in Indianapolis. Funchess should be healthy now, and if he can regain his form from 2017, when he posted 840 yards and eight touchdowns as a primary option for [quarterback] Cam Newton in Carolina, his prove-it deal of $2.5 million in Green Bay will be a worthwhile investment." — ESPN NFL writer Jeremy Fowler, calling the Packers' signing of Funchess the most underrated move of the 2020 offseason
