Sure enough, Brady threw two touchdown passes to the former during the Super Bowl and one to the latter. The game itself — and season as a whole — was one of pure bliss for Tampa Bay fans, who received even more good news before the night was over. "Yeah, we're coming back," Brady said during the celebration. "One had to admit, that was the best news of a brilliant night," Plaschke wrote. HOW FORMER WOLVERINES FARED IN THE SUPER BOWL • Tom Brady (1996-99), QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards with three touch- downs and no interceptions in the Buc- caneers' 31-9 Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs … In four postseason contests, he connected on 58.7 percent of his throws for 1,061 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions … He finished the regular season with a 65.7 completion percentage, 4,633 yards, 40 touchdowns and 12 picks … Was tied for second in the NFL in touchdown passes and ranked third in passing yards. • Taco Charlton (2013-16), DE, Kan- sas City Chiefs: Was put on the injured reserve list Nov. 20 with a lower-leg frac- ture and missed the rest of the season, including each of the Chiefs' three post- season games … Saw time in seven con- tests (no starts), and accumulated seven tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. • Frank Clark (2011-14), DE, Kansas City Chiefs: Started the Chiefs' 31-9 Su- per Bowl loss to Tampa Bay, and com- piled four tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack … Started each of the Kansas City's three postseason games and logged nine tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks … Started 15 of the Chiefs' 16 regular-season contests (was rested in the team's final game), and notched 29 tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, two passes defended and one fumble recovery. • Michael Danna (2019), DE, Kansas City Chiefs: Posted one tackle off the bench in Kansas City's 31-9 Super Bowl defeat at the hands of the Buccaneers … Received playing time in each of the Chiefs' three playoff games as a backup and racked up four tackles … Partici- pated in 13 regular-season contests (one start), and recorded 25 tackles, four tack- les for loss and 2.5 sacks. • Chad Henne (2004-07), QB, Kan- sas City Chiefs: Did not see the field in the Chiefs' 31-9 Super Bowl setback to Tampa Bay, with starter Patrick Mahomes playing the entirety of the night … Competed in one of Kansas City's three postseason games, completing 6 of 8 passes (75.0 percent) for 66 yards with no touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing twice for 12 yards … Saw action in three regular-season con- tests (one start), and connected on 28 of 38 passes (73.6 percent) for 248 yards with two touchdowns and no picks while scoring a one-yard rushing touchdown. • Patrick Omameh (2008-12), OL, Kansas City Chiefs: Resided on the Chiefs' practice squad and was not pro- moted to the active roster for any of Kansas City's three postseason games … Started one of the seven regular-season outings he participated in, with six of his appearances coming as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders … He was waived by Las Vegas Dec. 14, claimed by the New Orleans Saints Dec. 15 and then signed by Kansas City Dec. 26 after having never competed in one game with New Or- leans. FORMER WOLVERINES ON NBA ROSTERS Through Feb. 14 • Ignas Brazdeikis (Played at U-M from 2018-19), F, New York Knicks: Averaged 0.5 points and 0.5 rebounds in 1.8 minutes of action in four games with the 13-15 Knicks … Spent the ma- jority of his time with the Westchester Knicks of the G-League. Defensive end Frank Clark started Super Bowl LV and notched four tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack, giving him five tackles for loss and three sacks in three postseason games.
