JULY/AUGUST 2021 ■ 21 Our fan base has been amazing, and I am going to say second to none." Are there any games or experiences that stand out to you from your first year? Broussard: "There are several for dif- ferent reasons. The Wake Forest game was my first experience at Carter-Finley, but because of COVID it was friends and family only. I got to see the game with hardly anybody in attendance. I'll never forget that. "I had never been to a col- legiate wrestling match, but I quickly became a fan of watch- ing wrestling in Reynolds, and I can't wait to see it at full throttle. "I didn't enjoy the out- come, but I was really excited to watch us play for an ACC championship in baseball. El- liott Avent's success has been amazing. "One memorable moment came when we went on a road trip to watch Wes Moore and the women's basketball team play at No. 1 Louisville. The Wolfpack played great and won, and that's when we knew that team was going to be special." What are the plans and goals for the Wolf- pack Club? Broussard: "Our biggest goal is to get back out and have more interaction with our mem- bers. There are a ton of people in this state that I have not had the pleasure to meet and tell them about the great things that Boo plans to do with our athletics department and how the Wolfpack Club can be supportive of that. "I look forward to meeting with our fan base and explaining the opportunity to in- vest in the excellence of our student-athletes. More than anything, Buzzy and I, Boo Corri- gan and the front-line fundraisers of the Wolf- pack Club want to be on the road. We want to get out of Raleigh. We want to see our fans. "From an initiative standpoint. We had a very successful year in our ImPack program. We are currently approaching 40 or so ImPack donors, and we have a goal to add another 40 this year. "The Foundation of Champions, one of our other new programs, allows us to grow our endow- ments with gifts that honor cur- rent and former student-athletes at NC State. We hope to add a group of those this year and continue to grow that program. "We want to grow our membership numbers and are going to be aggres- sive in membership acquisition. We hope that our current Wolfpack do- nors will help us identify two or three of their buddies that are not Wolfpack Club members who could join. "We want to increase the money we raise so we can provide the re- sources the athletics department needs to be successful." ■ Etch Your Name Into Wolfpack History One Brick At A Time 1.
