Noah Cain — Jr., RB An injury forced Cain to the sideline for nearly all of the 2020 season, but he returns healthy in 2021 to headline a deep group of Penn State running backs. The power he showcased between the tackles as a true freshman in 2019 made him an instant fan favorite, and he has all the tools to be a difference-maker for the Nittany Lions if he can stay healthy for a full season. 5. Arnold Ebiketie — Sr.-R DE Our top five finishes with a transfer. At Temple last season, Ebiketie was an elite pass rusher, sacking opposing quarterbacks four times in six games. The senior defensive end has already transformed his body at Penn State, bulking up to 256 pounds. The se- nior running back played a key role in the Baylor backfield for all four of the seasons he spent there, compiling 1,803 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in his career and averaging 5.1 yards per carry. His addition puts an already exciting Penn State run- ning back group over the top. 7. Injuries are nothing new for the vet- eran Nittany Lion cornerback, but if he's healthy, he should be one of the better defensive backs in the Big Ten. Now with four seasons of expe- rience under his belt, Castro-Fields gave a massive boost to Penn State's secondary with his decision to come back. 8. Caedan Wallace — So., OL Wallace offered Penn State some needed solidity at right tackle last sea- son, starting seven of the nine games on the Nittany Lions' schedule. He was reliable on both running and passing plays, allowing nine pressures all sea- Jahan Dotson said in the spring that he's looking to have a "legendary" senior season after lead- ing the Big Ten in receiv- ing yards a year ago.
